Kim Hastreiter, artist and author of the upcoming book STUFF. A New York Life of Cultural Chaos (Damiani, published in conjunction with Amazing Unlimited, 2025), has been honored with the prestigious 2025 National Design Award by the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Founder of PAPER Magazine, Kim Hastreiter has established herself as a key figure in the contemporary cultural scene, anticipating cultural movements and trends, and collaborating with various entities in the art and design world.
The official ceremony, which will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the National Design Awards, will take place on April 3, 2025, at the Cooper Hewitt.
