Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 6 to 8 pm. the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, Indiana, will host the photographer Ivan McClellan that will present his new book Eight Seconds: Black Rodeo Culture (Damiani, 2024). At 6.30 the Eiteljorg President and CEO Katie Haigh, and Curator of Western Art Johanna Blume will welcome the guests followed by Ivan’s presentation on Black cowboy culture, rodeo, and professional bull riding. To end the evening, Ivan will take questions and have a book signing.
